Lost cause

Two South Asian countries, same culture , religions, ethnicity and language with a distinct demarcation of international border which separates India & Pakistan (apart from PoK & Aksai Chin). Yet there is a wide range of gap in thoughts, ideas , mutual understanding and peace making process. The recent dialogues, between India & Pakistan , held in the sidelines of UFA(Russia) Convention , has no new result. Rather it has turned out to be one of the worst fiasco by deliberate blaming of each other’s actions. Prior to this convention when India & Pakistan met in the sidelines of SCO (Shangai Co-operation Organisation) , same was the intended result.   The first and foremost thing was as always have been  prevention of terrorism  by subduing any strand of the situation. This is the most hotly discussed topic which has been failing since ever. The menace of  cross border terrorism not just destabilizes both country’s efficacy but thwarts them in peace...

South Asia's Regional Conundrum.

History is geographically distributed while Geography is historically influenced. The Asian continent was largely in a colonial period for two centuries which left its geo-economic interests dwindling with the interference of geo-political influence of Europeans nations. This impact had a devastating impact on Asian nations on the basis of socio-economic status. In the 20 th century, the Asian nations started recovering slowly. After the post colonialization period certain demarcations were formed rechristening a few countries albeit sharing the same cultural, linguistic and ethnic identities. The South East Asian nations are on a trajectory path leading to a healthy GDP nations which are rapidly on rise. The true potential in the South Asian nation still remains untapped. The One belt, One road corridor proposed by China which is known as ‘Maritime Silk Road’ is a better prospect in improving the trade and prosperity among the Africa-Asia-Europe nations.
